Staff Sergeant, Erick Millette, USA (Wounded Warrior)

Erick joined the Army at age 18 while still in high school. That was 1996, and it began an 11-year career which spanned two tours of duty in Iraq. As a combat patrol leader, Erick experienced numerous improvised explosive device attacks and sustained multiple injuries – including traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. Erick is the recipient of the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal with "Valor", the Combat Action Badge, as well as numerous other awards and decorations.

The Jacksonville Post is soliciting donations to the Wounded Warrior Project and will match other individual and corporate donations up to a maximum of $500. We encourage that contributions be made before November 15, 2013, as the combined donations will be presented to the WWP at the luncheon on November 20, 2013.  If providing a check, make payable to "Wounded Warrior Project".
