Trig-Star Math Competition
UF’s Geomatics Extension Program is sponsoring a state-wide Trig-Star competition promoting surveying to high school math students. If you’d like to volunteer, know a teacher who may want their class to participate, or want to support the competition in Florida, please let us know.

Elizabeth May Receives Southeast Region Vice President’s Medal
On August 16 at the Deland Naval Air Station Museum, USAF Major Elizabeth May (Ret) was awarded the SAME Southeast Region medal for 10 years of dedicated service to the Jacksonville Post. She was joined by her daughter, members of the local aviation community, and Veterans spanning service from the Vietnam War to Afghanistan and Desert Storm.
